Has anyone done Fun Run Walks ?  I'm training for my first 2 Fun Run Walks on April 27 and May 3 in small rural communities.  The 5K walks = 3.1 miles.  Today I walked 4 miles in 1 hour 3 min.  The first 3 miles were within 48 min.  My goal is to complete the 5K (3.1 miles) within 1 hour.  Will need to walk these.  Joined Weight Watchers at work and it is a good program.  When I get 30 - 35 pounds off and back to my normal weight of 30+ years I will try to run again.  My knees would not take it now.  The photo above was when I weighed my normal natural weight during the years that I could eat anything I wanted to and never gained.  The Weight Watchers group is very positive with an easy to understand point system that encourages fruits, vegetables, dairy, water, fiber, exercise and not sweets and fats.  I never wanted to join as I thought it was too expensive, but it is a good quality program.  The fun run walks are also a good motivator for exercise in preparing.

Recently read:
Rainbow's End - a Richard Jury mystery.

Them fish are so neat. I love widgets like that. They're so interesting and a bit of a fun diversion. Thanks for posting them.

Oh, I wish I had enough gumption to do fun run walks. Sounds like a healthy way to have a fun and enjoy the world around us.

I'm just out making quick visits and I wanted to come by and say Howdy!

Wishing you a fabulous day!

Hi Connie, this is quite a collection of books and they all look like fun. I found a new series too that is fun, the culinary mysteries of G. A. McKevett featuring Savannah Reid. I have read Sue Grafton's "S" is for Silence. That's the last of this series that I have read. It is easy to get most of her alphabet books because they are all over the place, lol. I once loved to walk and actually could walk for miles, and did, but CHF has robbed me of that, sigh.

I wanted to stop by and thank you for commenting on the site! Was that your first visit to the new site? Any advice for this budding web designer (much laughter on this end -- I have no earthy idea what I am doing).

I've read all of those books. Josh deploys so I read.

Blessings to you!!!
