? on self publishing

Does anyone have any advice on self publishing?  I have an idea for a small book on which I've been accumulating notes on for self study the last few years.  I was encouraged to by a prof I chanced to meet a couple weekends ago in a library.  It never occurred to me to write the book, but I've looked for one and I know of others who have looked for one.  A guide of sorts on a genre that has not yet been written about.

This day sets a record for high temperature in Wisconsin.  Temps in the 50s here in Madison, 60s in Milwaukee.  40s 50 miles North in Fond du Lac.  Tornados went through S of Milwaukee and destroyed homes late afternoon.  A caller in to WTMJ said a snowmobile flew across the road in front of him.  Lots of fog the last few days because of the warm temps and snow cover.  I stayed off the interstate Sunday and it's a good thing as over 100 cars in 2 pileups.  Everyone drives like it's the Indy 500 regardless of snow, ice or fog.   I need to find a CB and amateur radio to keep aware of road problems.

Rainbow sent a link to a Utube video soldier giving his view on Ron Paul.  Great video.  Too bad it's gone.  Was it censored?  Why didn't Fox let Ron Paul on the debates last night?  He is the candidate the military support the most.  The media doesn't like Ron Paul and the soldier explained why.  A qualification for US President should be active military duty on the resume.  Goebbel's propaganda machine is alive and well.  Love the way the GI explained the corporate greed that is keeping the war going and his take on the candidates.  Not saying I agree with everything about him -  don't know enough to say - but I do see censorship.

On Saturday the New Hampshire Republican party expressed its disappointment with the decision to exclude Mr. Paul and Representative Duncan Hunter of California by severing its partnership with Fox.

“We believe that it is inconsistent with the first in the nation primary tradition to be excluding candidates in a pre-primary setting,” said Fergus Cullen, chair of the state G.O.P. party. “All candidates regardless of how well known they are or how much money they’ve raised should be treated equally here.”

Jay Leno invited Ron Paul on his show tonight because of this.

Hi Connie! Brrrr , hope you are staying warm, would send ya some of my tropical warmth if I could. It is staying in the 60's here now and the lowest temp we have seen so far is 34 . I don't know about publishing but I hope you find a way because it sounds like this would be very helpful to others, especialy since there is not alot of books on the subject. I wish you luck and will be very interested in knowing how it turns out for you.:-?:);)

b.t.w.,A couple of months ago I recieved a new camera for birthday. My husband got me a Kodak EASYSHARE Z712 IS Zoom Digital. I am not sure what that all means and am still learning the new functions, but I am delighted with the closeups it allows me to get. I think that has alot to do with the 36–432 mm (35 mm equiv.) SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON Lens, and built in Zoom - 12X optical, 4.2X advanced digital, total zoom range 50X. Thanks for asking Connie:)
